learning development
Learning modules are PowerPoint style interactive projects that can be inserted into any compliant learning management system. In every project I endeavour to kill bullet points before they kill me or the learners!
Leadership Materials Suite
A comprehensive suite of leadership programs and materials designed for online, face-to-face, and virtual facilitation, supporting capability development across all organisational levels.
Client: UnitingCare Queensland
Skills: Learning Design · Digital Transformation · Generative AI · Articulate Rise
Brief: Design and build new ways of learning by transitioning existing face-to-face leadership programs into blended and digital formats, including self-paced modules, virtually facilitated sessions, and single-day workshops. Ensure leadership content is contextualised for all levels—frontline, mid-level, senior, and executive leaders.
Solution: This project delivered a suite of organisation-wide leadership programs, including:
-
Emerging Leader Program – 12-month blended development journey built in Articulate Rise
-
Driving Change at UC – 1-day workshop focused on leading change through values and influence
-
Learning Loops – 12 x 90-minute virtual sessions designed for active reflection and applied learning
Programs were developed in Articulate Rise and PowerPoint, allowing the client to easily update and adapt materials. Job aids were also produced as quick-reference tools to reinforce key actions and learning takeaways.
Generative AI was integrated throughout the content development process, significantly accelerating design, improving consistency, and enhancing the learner experience across multiple delivery modes.
Rise Social
A custom-built platform designed to seamlessly embed discussions, journals, polls, and chatbots into Articulate Rise modules—enhancing participant engagement and enabling authentic social learning experiences.
Client: Me – built for multiple clients
Skills: UX Design · Concept Exploration · Generative AI · Product Development · Micro-SaaS
Brief: While designing large-scale leadership programs, I identified a recurring gap in existing learning platforms—there was no simple, integrated way to facilitate discussion, reflection, and quick engagement activities within online courses. Tools like comment threads, journaling prompts, and live polls were either siloed or overly complex. The goal was to design a lightweight, accessible solution that could embed directly into any course environment and encourage continuous learner interaction.
Solution: To bridge the gap between static eLearning modules and interactive, learner-centred experiences, I developed Rise Social — a micro-SaaS platform designed to bring discussion, journaling, and instant feedback directly into Articulate Rise 360 and other learning environments.
Built to feel native within Rise 360, Rise Social enables facilitators to embed widgets via a simple iFrame or share live links for virtual sessions in Teams or Zoom — perfect for real-time pulse checks and reflective dialogue. Each widget is intentionally minimal and privacy-first: no user tracking, analytics, or behavioural data collection.
Since launch, Rise Social has attracted users globally across leadership programs, university courses, and organisational learning initiatives, helping educators and facilitators transform traditional eLearning into collaborative, human, and interactive learning experiences.
