Australian Maths Trust
Brief: Create a short ‘exciter video’ to demo new features and launch the Problemo platform to high school teachers.
Solution: Starting with writing the storyboard and then script design first and working from notes around new features I created screen captures of critical parts in the user journey. Completing the project was an outsourced voice over artist added a level of professionalism to this project.
Gravitas Executive
Brief: Create and build a new platform to engage with the clients in a new and innovative way.
Solution: Built on the Mighty Networks platform this new project delivers online courses, a subscription system to community members. Easy to update and build this solution has a thriving community of active participants.
Science of Rockets
Brief: Create an series of online courses for teacher facilitation to encourage students towards a STEM related career.
Solution: This industry initiated program was created by PFI and sponsored by Northrop Grumman Corporation. We supported the creative, technical and strategic directions in platform selection with Stile LMS an Australian secondary focused learning management system. Content creation was a partnership between academics from USQ, teachers from Sheldon College and rocket science engineering from PFI.
Backed by the Queensland Government with an initial pilot of eight schools, soon to go national.
McR Success Academy
Brief: Develop the framework and content to enable a transition from workshops to blended delivery facilitating anyplace, anytiime learning.
Solution: Building on the latest thinking in learning and development around Learning in the Flow of Work we have are helping reshape learning and development with just in time resources and courseware.
The cloud platform aims to reduce business costs and atain measurable performance increases in staff.
SOULmission
Brief: Create a four hour experiential activity around robotics for executives to focus their thinking and connect them to a leadership framework as well as each other.
Solution: I crafted the concept of a ‘Mars Rover’ where teams customised a remote control car and scored points in a competition. Each participant had a persona card to engage with and a role to play in team collaboration. This highlight video does not feature me as I was behind the camera but I wore a white NASA spacesuit to help the event theming.
The Great Art Heist
Brief: Unleash team creativity and collaboration.
Solution: Before implementing unique solutions on clients we like to experiment and learn on ourselves. This project featured a puzzle and rich picture creation where individuals created artwork which formed part of a larger design. Note to self: pastels work well but are very ‘dusty’ and went everywhere! – Lucky we tested.
Building on Success
Brief: Create a learning solution and online portal for a two day workshop and focus participants on being ‘change makers’ in their teams.
Solution: A really fun and dynamic client Atradius required learning design solutions for a two day workshop with was concluded with a drumming activity which has some hilarious results.
My Story
Brief: Create a series of themed videos highlighting staff culture that could be shared internally and on social media platforms.
Solution: I filmed a series of interviews in Sydney and Brisbane. The series was created and drip fed to a planned three month schedule. Each interview went for about 20 minutes and select pieces were assembled into montage pieces. This example is 1 of 6.
The videos were really well received, circulated at at Partner meetings and featured on the clients LinkedIn job page.
QUT neuroscience
Brief: Take people offsite to a remote location to hear the latest in research and innovation at QUT.
Solution: Whilst working at QUT I reached out toseveral colleagues and filmed a series of six interviews on location with a 360 degree camera. The videos were then viewed by participants at the 2018 TEDx Brisbane event on an Oculus Go headset.
Women in Law – The Next 100 Years
Brief: Create an easy to update blog to promote women in law to be updated by internal stakeholders.
Solution: I built a WordPress platform and theme with content and design direction from the internal marketing team.
A wonderful initiative the site features a growing list of interviews which are searchable and thought leadership articles.

Everyday Expectations
Brief: Create video and print resources to launch an internal change program focused around culture change.
Solution: I created two launch videos – Everyday Expectations and Diversity & Inclusion which were used to launch a one day workshop.
Additionally I created print materials in the form of a card deck as a go to reference that participants could use well beyond the event.
After the event we followed up with a series of role play videos (one sample here) demonstration skills and approaches employees might take having conversations with their peers.
Adaptive Leadership
Brief: Create a video to inform and entice students to enrol in a new unit which takes an experiential out of the classroom direction.
Solution: Out into the bush we went for this fun project with academic presenters in casual attire.
The video was widely circulated and well received with high than expected numbers enrolling – must have been the drone shot which convinced them!
IP Australia – Choose Wise
Brief: Help the public understand what a trademark is and the process in completing what might seem a complicated and confusing form.
Solution: I created the scripts and art direction for these internally produced videos.
The first video feature a narrative driven content to completing a trademark application and the second video tried to personalise IP Australia, a large government department with a ‘behind the scenes/ day in the life of.
QSuper Talent Offsite
Brief: Capture a one day workshop with senior leaders for end of day playback to close the session.
Solution: I always love these time limited and high pressure projects and just hope that my editing laptop does not crash. Well it didn’t crash and we had a lot of fun as you can see in the video. This kind of video provides a great memento for attendees and senior staff funding the event.
What’s My Why?
Brief: Work within an existing training program to create print collateral and a wrap video on the event day capturing participants thoughts and commitments.
Solution: A hectic and busy day of grabbing participants for interviews and actual footage of them engaging in activities.
Similar to other project – end of day playback to close the event.
Everyday Expectations
Brief: Capture the launch event and vox pops for playback end of day.
Solution: A mad but fun scramble to capture footage and participants… export and play at completion.
